1) When should I use Speak Up For Daikin?

When you become aware of, are informed of, or are involved in a situation that violates the Code of Conduct of Daikin. 3) Would there be any retaliation for making a complaint?

NO, all reports are presumed in good faith and solely and exclusively seeking that the reported conducts adhere to the Company's ethical principles.

However, it is our duty to protect the integrity and respect of the reputation and image of our collaborators, therefore, a report in bad faith with the purpose of discrediting, denigrating or falsely accusing as a revenge, is an unwanted conduct and will be penalized in accordance with applicable policies.

4) What kind of information or data is needed to use Speak Up For Daikin?

When you file a report, you will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Place and date where the events occurred.

  • A detailed report of how the events happened.

6) What are the phone assistance hours to file reports, ask doubts and concerns?

You can do it from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. We also remind you that you can leave a message on our voicemail 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

7) What can be reported?

The violation or omission of our Code of Ethics:

  • Misuse of organization assets.
  • Corruption, transparency and conflict of interest.
  • Fraud, extortion and bribery.
  • Work harassment (mobbing), sexual and emotional harassment.
  • Any breach of the organization's policies and procedures.

8) What should not be reported?

  • Gossip.
  • Personal conflicts outside the company.
  • Lack of communication or misunderstandings between collaborators.
  • Others not related to breaches of integrity or Code of Ethics.

9) How long will it take to resolve a complaint already made?

EthicsGlobal sends the information to the Compliance area within a maximum of 48 hours after the complaint has been made; Due to the complexity of each particular case, Daikin will determine the time for the investigation and solution to the filed complaints.

10) After filing a complaint, will I be informed of the resolution?

Speak Up For Daikin will only inform the complainant of the status of the investigation. The content and results of the investigation will remain confidential.

11) How can I follow up on a complaint that I have filed?

When you make a report, you will be provided with a follow-up number that will serve to:

  • Find out if more information is needed to process your report.
  • Provide any new information related to your report.
  • View updates or status of the investigation.
  • We recommend that you make a follow up 5 or 6 business days after making the report.

12) What happens if after submitting my complaint I want to provide more information?

A complainant can At any time, access Speak Up For Daikin and, with a follow-up number, provide new information or report any recurrence.

13) What happens if I witness a violation of the Code of Ethics and do not report it?

All Daikin employees are required to report any violations of the Code of Conduct that affect the organization and its members. If you witness a major violation and fail to report it, you will be considered a passive accomplice to the action and may be subject to a serious sanction by the organization.
